She was born July 21, 1925 in North Platte, NE
Shirley is survived by 3 children: Bonnie, Deanna and Glenn, 8 grandchildren, 7 great
grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary, in 1992 and husband of nearly 62 years, Herb, in 2004.
Shirley served the 1st Church of God and North Hills Church in Phoenix faithfully since 1950 in
various positions including: teacher, camp counselor, several women’s ministry positions and
Library Director 34 yrs.
Shirley will be remembered by all who knew her as a woman of God who showed love and
concern for all in her sphere of influence, including prisoners and anyone else in need of
comfort or mercy.
