Tim was born in Brighton, Massachusetts on February 16, 1949 and worked as a golf caddy with his older brother, Ed. This ignited his passion for playing golf later in his life. Tim loved nature, particularly archeology, which led to him to further his studies and graduate from the University of Arizona with a degree in archaeology. He later worked for the Bureau of Land Management in Southern Arizona.
Tim later moved to Scottsdale in 1986 and worked as a data analyst for Scottsdale Insurance. He was a Mensa member and avid bridge player, playing nearly his whole life, while winning a major tournament in Las Vegas in the 1970's. Tim donated frequently to major conservancies such as the WWF (World Wildlife Foundation), Greenpeace, the Audubon Society, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Nature Conservancy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yanrong Mann; his sons, Peter and Charles Mann; brothers, Robert "Bobby" Mann, Michael Mann, and Tommy Mann; sisters, Cindy Gray, Kathleen Mann and Jeanne Crisafi; and many nieces and nephews. Tim is preceded in passing by his parents, Edward and Alice Mann; and his older brother, Ed Mann.
A celebration of life memorial service for Timothy will be held Sunday, December 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
