Barbara married Phillip Ross Fraser, with whom she built a loving family and raised three sons: Paul, Eric, and Christopher. She earned her teaching degree from Western Washington University in 1969 and went on to shape the lives of countless young students. Barbara taught second grade at Echo Lake Elementary in Shoreline before continuing her career at Our Lady of the Lake Parish School, where she served from 1987 until her retirement in 2010.
Following her years in the classroom, Barbara remained deeply committed to helping others. She volunteered countless hours at St. Francis House in downtown Seattle, offering her time, compassion, and steady presence to those in need.
Barbara will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to her students, and unwavering devotion to her family and community. Her impact will live on in the many lives she touched.
