Brooke Alexandria Dunham, 29 years old, affectionately known as Brookie, passed away on January 4th, 2024, in Monroe, Washington. Brookie was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend whose light shined so very bright on all those who were lucky enough to cross her path.
Brookie was born in Spokane, Washington on October 21st, 1994, to Casey and Martha and was the third of their four children. Brookie was known for her breathtaking beauty, her sweet and empathetic heart and infectious sense of humor. She had a deep love for all animals, but dogs brought her immense joy. She adored her German Shepard, Shadow and Chihuahua, Charles.
Brookie was passionate about music and loved to dance with her family. She loved fashion and had a unique style that was all her own. She also loved horror films, spooky things, and Halloween was her favorite holiday. She loved Disneyland and visiting during this time made her incredibly happy!
Brookie was also a huge baseball fan and had an intense love for the New York Yankees. One of her favorite things was baseball season and she would rarely miss a game with her siblings and her dad when the Yankees came to play in Seattle.
Brookie was bigger than life and her ability to illuminate any room was her biggest defining trait. Her untimely departure has left a void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her vibrant spirit, contagious laughter, and gift for making those she loved laugh hard and feel cherished.
Brookie is survived by her loving mother, Martha Howard (spouse Robert Howard) and father, Casey Dunham as well as her brother Cody Dunham and sisters Madison Dunham and Chandler Dunham and her partner Shawn Ketchum and their dogs, Shadow, Chloe, and Charles.
We pray that Brookie has finally found the peace that she could not find in this world and that her loved ones find solace in their shared memories of her.
