Carla Micheaele Pete was born on January 27th, 1951. She and her 2 sisters were raised on Alki in the “rock house” built by their grandmother. She was an active child, with a sweet and loving spirit despite having several physical obstacles to overcome since birth.
She grew up in West Seattle, spending lots of time on the beach and swimming in the Puget Sound. That home was always her touchstone. So much so, she has requested some of her ashes be spread in the Sound across from the rock house. No matter how far way she may have traveled, a piece of her heart always remained on Alki.
Carla was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She took care of everyone with her gentle touch and fabulous food. She made every holiday and every birthday special no matter how lean things were. And she hosted endless holiday meals and with an open door policy.
She leaves behind her husband, Albert Pete, two daughters; Brandy Jesse and Eva Pete, four grandchildren; Mason Hoecker, Evan McGann, Marilyn McGann and Patrick McGann Jr., her mother; Carmecita Munoz and two sisters; Patrice Hollrah and Michael Skaret.
Arrangements will be handled by Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 6701 30th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98126, and a grave site memorial will be held at Noon on Friday August, 28th, 2020.
