

Darrell Stenseth, beloved husband and father, passed away on June 30th. He grew up in Minnesota, the younger of two sons of Richard Donald Stenseth and Vivian Garnor Stenseth. Darrell graduated from Chisholm High School in 1053 and served in the U.S. army for two years. He took advantage of the GI Bill to attend College at the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. In 1960. He then moved to Seattle to work for Boeing. Between various engineering jobs over the years he managed a wine shop and got a second degree in business administration at Seattle University.
Darrell and his wife Natalie were married in 1973 and Have one sone Eric. He was devoted to family and participated with Eric in sport teams, Boy Scouts, and other activities. The family enjoyed camping, fishing and cross country skiing together. Darrell was also an excellent downhill skier, enjoyed bird hunting trips with friends and even climbed Mt Rainier in 1969.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife Natalie and son Eric as well as three nephews: Richard, David and Mark.
There will be a memorial service at Kenmore Community Church, 7504 NE Bothell Way on Saturday, August 9 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Wounded Warriors or Guide Dogs for the Blind.
