He was born on January 13, 1932 in Minnesota.
His life was celebrated by a graveside service followed by a family gathering. He will be laid to rest on Saturday June 9, 2018 at Acacia Cemetery in Seattle, WA.
Most of his childhood was spent throughout the Midwest. As a young man he served his country by joining the Marines as well as met his sweetheart Marlys Arlene Reber. Shortly after they married on his birthday in 1952.They were married for 64 years when she passed away in 2016.
Two children later he moved his family to the Seattle area where he and his wife then lived for the remainder of their lives.
He worked in various labor related jobs eventually owning his own janitorial service which he ran several years then sold to retire.
Jerome was a very simple and hardworking man. He believed in a job well done and living within your means. His pleasures were spending time with friends over a good cup of coffee, working in his shop or yard and in spending time with his family.
He is predeceased by his wife Marlys and three siblings Ivan, Carol and Robert. He is survived by his two sons Mark (Renton, WA) and Michael (Seattle, WA), He has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved very much.
