My uncle Jack served in the U.S. Navy in WW2 as a "frogman" UDT and rescue swimmer and was a diver in the Pacific.  He had a long career with "Ma  Bell" as a communications engineer.  He was a Mason and was a gardener and took good care of Aunt Ella with all her seasonal decorations.  He was also a very private individual later in life and I wish I could have had more conversations with him  and shared more family time.  Thanks for the life guidance and lessons early on...I wish we hadn't grown so distant over time.  

Uncle Jack taught me to swim! I was 4 years old and he would pick me up and tumble me into the pool!  He and Aunt Ella were always at our house for holidays! My Mom and Uncle Jack would tell childhood stories of Grandma Nell and Grandpa John…stories of swimming at American Lake in the summers! I wish I had known where he spent his last days….  Give Auntie Ella a hug from me,
