Kathryn Ann Jensen died Dec. 3, 2010, at age 97. She was born to Anna and Emil Diebag April 7, 1913, in Machias, Wash. She was the fifth of six surviving children. After the death of her father, the family moved to Everett, Wash., where she graduated from Everett High School. She married Howard Arnold Jensen of Marysville, Wash., in February 1941. He died in 2000. During the Second World War, she joined the ranks of "Rosie the Riveter," working as an airplane inspector for Boeing. After retirement, she and Howard traveled extensively with the Washington State Winnebago Club. She is survived by her daughter, Joleen Jensen-Classen (Allan) of Portland, Ore.; her sister, Alice of New York state; nieces Mary Ann Freeman (Joel), Karen Champ (David) of New York and Marilyn Jones (Erwin) of South Carolina; and nephews, Fred Fleischman (Linda) of Seattle and Jack Diebag (Karen) of Alaska.
