Lam was born on March 23rd, 1969 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. He is survived by his father and mother, Na and Khiem and siblings, Son, Thuy and Long.
He graduated from Lake Washington High School in 1990 in Kirkland, WA and has worked at Lake Washington School District for a little over 20 years as a Mechanic Helper. Due to many chronic illnesses, Lam was too weak to work. He had to retire early and the school district accepted Lam’s resignation June 27th, 2012.
Lam stayed home to recover as he missed his co-workers every day because he loved the people he worked with. Everyone who knew him would agree that he was one of the nicest, sweetest and purest guy a person could know.
Lam loved to spend time with his family, his nephews, and niece. He liked dogs and listened to 80’s and 90’s music. His favorite television shows were WWE Wrestling, Little House on the Prairie and Full House. He also loved scary movies. He enjoyed riding his bike and watching the Seahawks.
Lam will be cremated on his birthday March 23rd, 2018. His two-day funeral will take place on March 22nd, from 10:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m. for viewing and March 23rd, 9:00 a.m. –- 10:30 a.m. for cremation at Forest Lawn Funeral Homes, Seattle, WA. His oldest brother, Son, will deliver his eulogy on March 23rd at 10 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lam Mai’s life.
