Laurence (Larry) John Gordon, age 78, of Woodinville, Washington passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Laurence was born in Bremerton, Washington to Francis and John Gordon on August 15, 1942. He went to school at El Camino High School in Sacramento, California where he took part in track and football. He married Kathryn Hollowell in Sacramento on July 25, 1970.
Larry was an Air Force veteran with a final rank of Airman First Class. He owned his own sales business, specializing in the banking industry. Later, he opened AMS Guns in which he successfully owned and operated for over 40 years in Woodinville, Washington. He was on the Board of Directors for Northshore YMCA, Northshore Youth Soccer, and Life Member of the NRA and Washington Waterfowl Association. His favorite pursuits were hunting, bowling, gold panning, soccer, and anything outdoors. He was fan of all Seattle sports, but he especially loved the Seahawks.
Larry is survived by his spouse, Kathy; daughter Tricia Ring (Royce); daughter Kelly Hoke (Wynn); and son Rick Gordon (Laura); grandchildren Kaylyn Ring, Adaline Ring and Stuart Gordon
Larry was preceded in death by his father John Gordon; his mother Francis Gordon and step mother Thelda Gordon and his brothers Gary and Mike Gordon
A graveside service for Larry will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Acacia Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, WA 98155.
