

Ralph George Doll peacefully died in his sleep at home on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 89. He is survived by Arlene, his loving wife of 65 years; his oldest brother Nick, his six children, 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Ralph was born November 14th 1932 to John and Catherine (Erhardt) in Glen Ullin, North Dakota. At 19 he joined the Navy during the Korean War. After four years, he went to Spokane, WA where he met Arlene. He moved to Seattle to work for Boeing and then a lumberyard. He worked nights and went to Carpentry school during the day. He retired as a carpenter at age 55.
Ralph built two homes for his family. He loved fishing, working in his garden, traveling and wood working. From his workshop he made anything from large cabinets to totem poles to jewelry boxes for his grandchildren.
Ralph loved his family. He was happiest when the house was filled with grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is truly missed.
A funeral service for Ralph will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at St Francis of Assisi, Burien. Ralph will be buried at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way.
