

Russ was born in Seattle to Gertrude Maib and Russell B. Davis on June 14, 1930, and died on May 13, 2025, at his home in Everett.
Russ lived in the Seattle and Everett area for all of his 95 years of life. He went to Broadway High School and graduated from Lincoln High. He went on to successfully complete business college.
He worked various jobs in Seattle, especially enjoyed working at Seattle Sporting Goods. He owned 2 hardware stores throughout the years: one in West Seattle and the other in Edmonds. He retired in 2009, after being a real estate agent for 43 years. He and wife also owned and operated The Handout Restaurant in Everett during that time.
He leaves behind his wife of 72+ years, June Rasmussen; his daughter Renee Juline (Gerald), his sons Russell B. (Renee Marie) and Richard E. He also leaves his 4 grandchildren (Juline, Jessica, Daniel, and Rebecca), 9 great grandchildren and 2.5 great great grandchildren.
Russ was involved with the Shriners and the Lynnwood Rotary
In lieu of flowers, he requested donations be made to the Shiner's Children's Hospital or Seattle Children's Hospital.
His memorial will be held at the Nile Country Club at 1 o'clock on Friday, May 30th.
