Shirley was loved and welcomed by many. She was born in Seattle, Washington. She attended Horace Mann Elementary School, Washington Middle School and Garfield High School. Shirley was the loving mother of Edward Lee Hicks, Raylynn Faye Hicks and Gloria Deen Hicks. She is also survived by 9 siblings, Martha, Chuck, Doris, Robert, Thomas, Kathleen, Patricia, Paul and Pauline, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, parents, Beatrice and Carmon, 2 brothers, Alex and James and 1 sister, Linda. Shirley will always be loved and missed.
