I had lost touch with Tina a while back.  I was trying to find her on facebook when I found her obituary.  I didn't even know and I feel so bad that we had lost touch.  She was a very dear person and will be greatly missed.  MARY IGL (Shoreline, WA)~

memorial I realized that in every picture - she was smiling or laughing.  That happiness seems to glow from within her when surrounded by family and friends. She touched many lives in many ways. Before her cancer I knew her as a wonderful person, someone who was always pleasant and kind. Dear Tina's Family,  Tina was an exceptional individual.  Her graciousness and compassion for others was a great example for all of us.  Our thoughts are with you.

I worked with Tina at Avanade in the early years and she was such a ray of sunshine.  Always calm, smiling and caring.  She had a way of making time for everyone.  Last I had heard, she was doing better with her treatments, so I was very sad to learn of her passing.  She was clearly a special person and I hope this offers some bit of comfort to her family and dear friends at this difficult time.

Knowing Tina over the years at Avanade was a privilege and a joy. She had the rare ability to make each person feel valued, and she led with a quiet grace that was a true gift to the world. She was so proud of and full of love for her children and her family. Thank you for sharing her with us.

I worked with Tina for almost 10 years.  She brought an amazing amount of humanity to the practice of business and was often a refuge for me when I was feeling down and out in the corporate world.  She was a great role model for balance and integrity.  I have learned much from her and she will be missed.

Tina had it all - brains, beauty, guts, humor, integrity and, most of all, heart.    It was truly a privilege to have known her, and not a single person who did was not blessed by the experience.  She will be so missed.  My deepest sympathy to her family.

What an amazing person Tina was that could touch the hearts of so many.  The words used....honor, blessing, angel... I am Tina's niece, and I have read through every single entry thus far, and I am continually reminded of how truly INCREDIBLE Tina is. I know through my own relationship with Tina how inspiring, encouraging, positive, diligent, warm, courageous....she was, but to read the amazing comments is profound. Tina embodied so many qualities we all wish we could live up to. If there is one thing you can take from this physical loss, I believe it is to strive to live as Tina lived. Let her values and qualities live on in your own life. That will honor Tina....

I didn't know Ms. Bays, except at the last by heresay and from what I heard she was one dynamite woman.  I regret that I had never met her; as she sounds like someone I might have had a great deal in common with.  Managerial, prepared and in control of all situations.  That takes SKILL.  Many prayers to/for her family and friends.

We were all blessed to have known and loved Tina. She was always so sweet and encouraging. Even with what she was going through, she was so caring when my mom passed away. Now they can sit over a cup of hot tea and talk for hours as they watch over Kara and Brandon. I will miss you, Tina.

I met Tina during her college years at CMSU and knew that I had found a life long friend in her.  She was an amazing person, and I was truly blessed to have known her. Tina was a fun loving spirt.  Her cheerful attitude was reflected in her warm smile.  When I met Tina and Randy in Seattle in the late 80's, they became a second family.  We spent many a Thanksgivng and other holidays together as our other families were far away.  I have to say that friend make the best family.  As life took us in different directions, we lost touch with one another, but hearing of her passing saddened my soul.  She will be missed.

To anyone who knew Tina, it was most evident that family and laughing were the most important things -- and who could argue with that?!  I told her repeatedly that I was inspired by her courage and toughness in fighting her cancer as long as she did -- truly a warrior in my eyes!  As tough as it is to say goodbye, I am glad she is no longer suffering.  My sincere and deepest sympathies to her entire family.

Tina was a lovely person to know and work with and I will miss her terribly. From the moment she announced to her co-workers that she was battling cancer, she was hopeful, optimistic, brave and helped us to cope with her illness.  She will be remembered by many as a thoughtful and giving friend and my heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.

Tina was a force in our family.  She was the best thing that ever happened for my son, Robert.  When they married, she promised me a grandson, as all my grandchildren are girls.  She delivered on that promise.  I loved her dearly and will miss her tremendously.  She spoke eloquently at the memorial for my wife, Susan.  When Tina arrives in heaven, she will find a friend there to greet her.  Tina was all one could want in a daughter-in-law.  Rest in peace, Tina Bays.  You were greatly loved.

There are no words to express my sorrow for each of you.  I spoke with Tina weekly and in every one of our conversations she spoke of each of you and the love and pride she felt for you.  Never doubt that the three of you are what kept her going, what gave her happiness and made her fight so hard to continue to live.  She was a great friend.  When I think of Tina I will always think of someone who could laugh really hard, who loved her family and who spent her time taking care of others.   I will miss her ability to always remain positive, even in the toughest of times.

Tina has been fighting her cancer ever since I met her.  But she has been a constant inpiration to me in two ways.  First of all, she was incredibly strong.  Knowing how hard her treatments must have been, I was always amazed to see her calmly walking down the hall or in a meeting looking like there was absolutely nothing wrong in her world.  Secondly, she is one of the most positive people I've ever met.  I never, ever saw her get down.  Rather, she was always supportive and enthusiastic.  After any interaction, I'd walk away amazed that she could maintain such a positive attitude.  I will carry the lessons I learned from Tina throughout my life.  Thank you Tina for being such an inspiration!

I was so thrilled watching Tina accept the CEO Award at Avanade a few years ago. She so deserved it. She was smart and good to people. Her attitude inspired me & others.  She was proud of her family. My heart goes out to her family & dear friends - I hope you can take comfort that she has gone on to a better place. "What is lovely never dies, but passes into other loveliness."

Tina was a kind friend and colleague.  I was blessed to have the oportunity to work alongside Tina and to learn from her.  My thoughts are with her family that she cared so passionately for.

I am starting to learn that what is most important is the quality of our days on earth, not the quantity.  Jesus Christ God's only begotten son graced this earth for only about 30 years, yet he changed the course of history.  Tina's days were too few as well, yet she lived a quality filled life, always loving people, always giving and expecting so little in return.  She was one of the kindest hearts I know, her presence exuded peace.  Tina  was always cheery and optimistic.  Tina and I became friends when Kara and my daughter Jordan where in Kindergarten.  We enjoyed doing fun outings together like Leavenworth and the Tulip festival.  One time when we were driving thru the mountains in Tina's brand new shiny red car when my toddler got car carsick.  I felt so bad, this was her brand new car.  But to Tina, things were things and people were more precious.  All of us who knew Tina were blessed and touched in some way that we are forever changed.  Tina so wanted to live and to be there for her family and she fought a courageous battle.  Her life is forever etched in my heart and I am thankful to know we get to spend all of eternity together with her.  To Robert, Kara and Brandon I am here for you always and my prayers are with you, may the God of all comfort, comfort your hearts.  All my love, always!
