Anthony Joseph Alagia

Anthony Alagia, age 92, of Secaucus, New Jersey passed away on Friday, June 13th, 2025. He was born to the late Pietro and Theresa (Distasi) Alagia in Jersey City and lived in Union City before moving to Palisades Park and eventually Secaucus 23 years ago. He was a Mason Contractor by trade and was the owner & operator of Jela Development in Palisade Park, NJ for many years as well as a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. Anthony leaves behind his children Peter Alagia and his wife Eileen, Maria Norton and her husband John, and the late Laurieanne Alagia; his grandchildren, Anthony Alagia, Elyse Guli, Lacey Garrity, and the late John Norton; his great grandchildren, Charlotte Alagia, Zoe Alagia, Isla Garrity, Delaney Garrity, Lorelei Garrity, Alexandra Guli, and Kylie Guli; and his brother Nunzio Alagia as well as many loving extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 72 years Lorraine Alagia, his brother Dominic, and his sister-in-law Annemarie.

A visitation for Anthony will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 2 to 7PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus, NJ 07094. His Cremation will be private.
