Born and raised in Jersey City, Carmen was the beloved son of devoted parents who instilled in him a strong work ethic, deep appreciation for family and good food. From an early age, Carmen worked alongside his father and brother in the family construction business which continued from 1992 until his passing.
A lifelong New York Jets fan, Carmen held onto the dream of seeing his team make it to the Super Bowl. We firmly believe that he will continue his support for his Jets from above as he rocks out to his favorite band- Metallica.
Carmen will be remembered for his kind heart, generosity, infectious laugh, and sharp wit. His humor and storytelling brought joy and laughter to every gathering, filling family rooms with cherished memories and heartfelt moments. These rooms will now be filled with the memories and impact he made on his family and friends- continuing his storytelling traditions. Whether up in Jersey City or down the Jersey Shore, Carmen was affectionately known as “The Best of Us.” His spirit will live on in the stories shared amongst all that knew him, and the lives he touched.
Carmen was predeceased by his parents Mildred and Carmen Rullo. He is survived by his wife Maryann Rullo; Sister, Brother-In-Law, and Niece, Barbara Ann, Joseph and Joanna D’Avella; Sister, Lucile Rullo; and Brother, Sister-In Law, and Niece, Dominick, Zana and Olivia Rullo.
