Doris Lorenzo

Doris Lorenzo, 80, went to rest with the Lord on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Jose Lorenzo for 58 years. Born July 7, 1939 in Moca, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Hipolito Muniz and Felicita Rodriguez. Doris moved to Brooklyn NY where she met her husband Jose. Doris worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family. In her spare time, you would always find her sewing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Doris is survived by her sister Delia, her daughters: Yolanda, Theresa, Doris, Diana, Nelly, Josephine, & Cristina. Grandchildren: Liza, Brittany, & Joseph Arana. Danielle, Jeanine, & Amani Najjar. Kelsey, & Ryan Foy, and Raquel Jimenez, and 5 great-grandchildren: Samuel, Olivia, Michael, Thomas, & Hailey. She was predeceased by her husband, Jose Lorenzo, her parents: Hipolito Muniz and Felicita Rodriguez, her sisters: Brunilda, Epifania, Emma, and her brothers: Candelario, German, Juan, and Antonio. Services: Mack Memorial Home, Secaucus NJ.
