Dorothy (known to friends as “Dottie”) was 75. Born in Union City, Hudson County, Dorothy was the beloved third child of Italian immigrant parents Fanny and Nick Galdini. Following high school, Dorothy worked for years in administrative roles at Morgan Guaranty in NYC (later merging into J.P. Morgan). She later moved to Brick, New Jersey where she resided for most of her adult life, raising her two sons, Sean and Cliff. While a devoted mother, sister and daughter, her favorite role was that of grandmother to Ryan. She treasured her time with Ryan and loved to watch him participate in sports and other activities.
Dorothy is also survived by her brother Anthony Galdini and his wife Annabelle, sister Frances Biasco (and her late husband Joseph Biasco,) and baby sister Michele and her husband John Porta. Dorothy’s role was much more than sister to her siblings – she was a best friend, confidant, and companion. She was also a beloved Aunt and mother figure to her 6 nieces and nephews: Joseph (godson), Michele, Nicole (goddaughter), Dawn, John and Joanne. She was dearly loved by her 12 great nieces and nephews.
