Helen Y. Montagne

Helen Montage (nee Korba) age 88, died at home on June 9, 2015, after a short illness. She grew up on a farm in Pleasant Mount, PA and moved to NJ as a young woman to attend nursing school. She lived many years in North Bergen before moving to Secaucus where she resided for the past 40 years. Helen was a graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1949. During her long career as a registered nurse she held various positions at Christ Hospital, in the corporate world and at a nursing home.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Montagne Sr., and her sisters, Mary Musto and Anne Wlodynski. She is survived by her daughter Diane Montagne and her husband Andrew Kulley; her son Robert Montagne and his wife Elizabeth; her son John Montagne and his wife Susan, as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Visitation will be held at Mack Memorial Home,1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, on Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM. A Parastas (prayer service) will be led by Father Joseph on Friday Evening at 6:30 PM. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives and friends on Saturday at 9:00AM for a 10:00 AM funeral mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 109 Grand Street, Jersey City.
