My heartfelt sympathies to all of Joanie's children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins for the loss that has taken place.
I have memories (that will never dim) of days in the early 1960's, when Joanie, along with her husband Buddy and their daughter Marie Ann, returned to New Jersey from Wisconsin. So began the Racine caravan to Palisades Amusement Park, the Bergen Point Amusement Park (Uncle Miltie's in Bayonne) and every Sunday, during the summer, outings to Sun Tan Lake in Riverdale, New Jersey with my mother and father (her Aunt Joan and Uncle Bob) and my sister (her cousin) Regina.
Joanie's jolly persona was always a welcome addition at a special event whether it was a birthday party or when my sister found and adopted a saber-toothed (gray) kitten, Peaches.
Somewhere, in the back of my mind, there is a hope that another dimension (not the biblical Heaven) awaits and Joanie is, at this very moment, undergoing a rebirth.

My  thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  I was sad to hear Aunt Joan died.  I have many fond memories of her when she and Uncle Buddy visited us all in Wisconsin. I enjoyed keeping in touch with her over the years with Christmas cards. My heart goes out to you!  (daughter of Uncle Buddy's brother, David Dean)

I was sad to hear about my Aunt Joan's passing.  Heartfelt feelings and prayers I offer my cousins.  My have wonderful memories of my aunt!  Years ago, when we visited and stayed an overnight with Aunt Joan and Uncle Buddy, we got the royal treatment!  Food galore and great conversation!  I know she will be missed!  ??

I am saddened to hear of Joan's passing.  She was very kind and welcoming to me and though it has been many years ago, I have very fond memories of her generosity. (son of Biddy's sister)
