

Kenneth Lee Tuthill, age 80, of Mooresville, NC passed away, Friday morning, May 8, 2026, with his family at his side. He was born December 9, 1945, in Jersey City, NJ to the late Al and Alma Tuthill. The family moved to Secaucus, NJ when Ken was 9. Ken graduated Bergen Technical High School in 1963. He married his high school sweetheart, Marsha Kuharich, in 1968 and they remained in Secaucus for the next 32 years, before relocating, first to Colorado and then to Mooresville, NC where he resided until his passing.
Ken and Marsha were the co-owners of the Flower Box Florist in Secaucus for 25 years. They raised their children, Melanie and Luke in Secaucus and were active members of the community. Ken was a member of the Secaucus Volunteer Fire Department, Hose Company 2, for 38 years, where he served his community in a variety of ways and was a mentor and friend to many other firefighters.
Ken is survived by Marsha, his beloved wife of 57 years, his children Melanie (Jake) and Luke (Chrystal), grandchildren Madison and Brenden and his sister Arlette Hoffmann. Ken is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and lifelong friends.
He will be honored with a Memorial Visitation at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ on May 15, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Prayer Service at 7:30 pm.
