Louis C. Canavari 84, of Secaucus, NJ, formerly of Hoboken, NJ entered into rest on Saturday July 21, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Anna Canavari. Devoted father of Grace Caparelli and her husband Robert, Chris Canavari and his wife Christina and Michael Canavari and his wife Camille. Loving grandfather of Jason, Helene, Anthony, Nicole and Louis.

Dear brother of John Canavari and Rosalyn D’Amico. Louis served his country proudly in the United States Army, he owned Louis Canavari Meats in Secaucus. Louis was a Commissioner of Secaucus Housing Authority. Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 24, 2012 from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Mack Memorial Home, 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus. The family will gather at the funeral home with their relatives & friends on Wednesday at 9:00 AM for a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louis may be made to The American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
