Marie Diffenderfer

Born and raised in West Virginia, Marie lived in Jersey City for 15 years, moved to Secaucus where she lived for 45 years, before moving to Flemington 9 years ago.

She worked at the Plaza Diner in Secaucus for 32 years before retiring in 2002.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Clyde in 1992, her brother Kenneth Heckert, and her two sisters Helen Kirsch and Geraldine Healey. She is survived by her daughter Donna Jeffas and her husband Thomas of Flemington, NJ, 3 sisters, Shirley Lawrence of Canton OH; Marjorie Becker of Secaucus, Linda Thomas of Williamstown, WV; a brother Junior Heckert of Glenville, WV; 6 grandchildren Thomas, Robert, Gary, Sheryl, Lisa, Krista, and 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 11th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm with a Service at 8pm at Mack Memorial Home 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. Entombment will follow on Thursday May 12th at 11:00 am Holy Cross Mausoleum, North Arlington, NJ.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hunterdon Hospice in Flemington, NJ.
