Born on January 1, 1956, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Patrick lived a life full of humor, generosity, and unwavering love for his family and friends.
Patrick resided in Secaucus, New Jersey, where he built a life rooted in faith, compassion, and community. A dedicated Real Estate Investor, he took great pride in his work and in the relationships he formed along the way. Patrick was known for his remarkable ability to brighten any room, whether through his quick wit, his contagious laughter, an ole fashion magic trick, or his natural gift for making others feel seen, valued, and cared for.
His hobbies reflected his joyful spirit: he loved playing cards, cooking for those he loved, and spending meaningful time with his family. Patrick’s Catholic faith guided him throughout his life, and he lived it out through quiet acts of kindness, constant generosity, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He was a Christ believer whose heart for others spoke louder than any words.
Patrick was the devoted son of the late Henry and Constance Negri. He is survived by his beloved son, Derek King; his cherished grandchildren, Cooper King and soon-to-arrive baby Connor King; his loving sister, Alana Negri; his brother-in-law, John Rutkowski; and his nephew, Anthony Rutkowski.
His family meant everything to him, and he protected and encouraged them with unwavering loyalty and love.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched, through his laughter, his faith, his courage, and the love he gave so freely.
Funeral Mass will be held on December 30, 2025, at 10:45 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1219 Patterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ 07094. The burial of ashes will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
Friends and family are welcome to gather for a repast at La Reggia Restaurant, 40 Wood Avenue, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
