Theresa Koenig

Theresa Koenig,73, passed away on December 6, 2025. Theresa was born in Jersey City to the late James Salzano and Ruth (Spath) Salzano and lived in West New York and Secaucus for many years before moving to North Bergen 28 years ago. She was a Teacher’s Aide for the North Bergen School District for 15 years before retiring around 10 years ago.

Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Koenig; Devoted mother of Michael Zlotkowski and his wife Brunilda, Daniel Zlotkowski and his wife Jessica, & Dawn Ranek and her husband Tim; Cherished Grandmother of Sophie, Mason, Justin, Ashley, Amaris, Samara, and Brianna; Sister of the late Diane Luhrman; her bother in law, Diane's husband Larry, and great grandmother of 8. She is also survived by her wonderfully good friends, Jeannine, Karen, Jonathan, and Raymond as well as many other friends and extended family members.

A Visitation will be held at Mack Memorial Home, located at 1245 Paterson Plank Road, Secaucus, NJ, on Thursday, December 11th, from 4 to 8pm. A Funeral Home Prayer Service will be offered at 10:30am on Friday, December 12th at Mack Memorial Home followed by her burial at Crest Haven Memorial Park, located at 750 Passaic Ave, Clifton, NJ.
