Paul was a machinist for 42 years and retired in 2001. He made many lifelong friends throughout his career and will be missed by them and dearly missed by his family. He was preceded in death by his mother Celia and father JD Flatt, brothers Jerry, Muggy and Donnie Flatt. He is survived by his wife LaQuitta of the home, daughters Teresa and her husband Jerry McElyea and Twanna Flatt Medina, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be noon to 5pm, Thursday, July 26th and 8am to 8pm, Friday, July 27th at Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10am, Saturday, July 28th, 2012 at Dale Cemetery.
