Claude Earl Chambers, 69, died at home Friday at 9:10pm after a short illness. He was born in Seminole to E.W. and Ima Chambers on Sept. 28, 1941. He earned a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biblical Psychology. After pastoring in several cities in OK, he moved to Earlsboro in 1998. He is survived by his wife, Lucy, of 42 ½ years; 1 brother, Ron of Cabot, Ark.; 3 sons, Carl of Browns Mills, N.J.; Curtis of Port Jervis, N.Y.; and Craig of Burleson, TX; 1 daughter, Cindy Pruegert of Midwest City, OK and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by both his parents. The funeral service will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Tecumseh. His visitation will begin 8am to 8pm on Tuesday, December 7th with family to receive friends from 2 to 4pm. He will be buried at Resthaven Memorial Park.
