
Frankie Joe Hill went to be with The Lord on Saturday the 20th of September 2014 at her home (Belfair memory care residence). She was born on the 20th day of June 1927 in Walters, Oklahoma to Clyde Barbe and Tommie Thompson Barbe. At an early age, she and her sister Zada Lee were sent to live in the Baptist Children's home in Oklahoma City after their mother passed away. She graduated from Classen High School and attended Oklahoma Baptist University, where she met her husband Harry B. Hill, Sr. They married in July of 1946 and from that union had three children: Harry B. HIll, Jr., Judith Ann Hill Levisay, and John A. Hill. She worked for Tom Adams Realty and retired from American General Life Insurance as a traveling auditor after twenty years of service. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church for over forty years, though because of her health, she was unable to attend the last several years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, shopping, attending church, and visiting. She went to live at Belfair in December of 2013 where she made many new friends, enjoyed all of her activities, and loved all of the aides that cared for her daily.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her eldest son Harry B. Hill Jr., three sisters, and one brother. She is survived by her sister and best friend Zada Mitchell of Bakersfield, California; her daughter-in-law Neva Hash Hill of Oklahoma City; her daughter, Judy Levisay of Shawnee; her son John Hill and his wife Karen of Enid; her grandson John Michael Hill and his wife Misty of Edmond; her grandson Jacob Daniel Hill of Oklahoma City; her granddaughter Shelley L. Levisay of Shawnee; her great granddaughter Trinity Hill; her step grandchildren Jackson Ferguson, David Jennings, Ezekiel Jennings, and Faith Jennings; her step great great grandchildren Riley Winn, Jadyn and Aria Ferguson; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and special family friend for over twenty-five years who also was a caretaker for her prior to her move to Belfair, Brenda Brewer.
Services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park Pavilion at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Bro. Bill Matthews and Bro. Jimmy P. Thompson (Phil) will be officiating.
The family has designated Liberty Baptist Church or Liberty Academy for memorial donations.
