James H. Ray

James was a man of many trades: a WWII Veteran, fisherman, accountant, gentleman farmer, carpenter, but above all a devoted husband and family man. Often Grand babies and family members were taken on fishing and camping trips by James for bonding and family time. His family came first and James made sure he always treated them that way. James was loved and cherished by his family and friends and will not be forgotten.

James is preceded in death by his parents: George Arthur Ray and Beulah May Thorne; and his beloved wife, Agatha Beatrice Ray. He is survived by 2 children: Linda Sepulveda, and Lewis Ray; 3 grandchildren: Stefanii Faulkenberry, Sarah Sepulveda, and James D. Ray; and 3 great-grandchildren: Lynda Sepulveda, Ashley Ray, and William Ray. Services are under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Visitation will be open to the public on Thursday, 2/27/14, from 1pm to 7 pm, with services being held on Friday, 2/28/14, at Resthaven Chapel at 10am.
