Jessica Lynn "Phipps" Clowdus

Jessica passed away December 29, 2021, at her residence in Oklahoma City.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Gary Clowdus, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Angelina Marie (Bautista) Hessen of Tulsa, OK; parents, Leona and Stacy Blakemore, of Shawnee, OK and Ronnie Phipps, of Hartshorne, OK; brother, Clyde Wilkins, of Shawnee, OK, sisters, Christa Hessen, and husband Curt, of Tulsa, OK, Veronica McIntyre and husband Terry, of Enid, OK, Casci Schafer of McLoud, OK, Mika Laster and husband, Aaron of McLoud, OK, Audrey Alexander of Ada, OK, and LaVada Blanton, of Texas. Jessica is also survived by her sister-in-law Jennifer Baptiste and husband Justin, of Shawnee, OK, father-in-law Gary Clowdus, Sr. and wife, Kimmie, of Decatur, Alabama, mother-in-law, Teresa Neumann and husband, Gerry, of Park Hill, Oklahoma and her grandmother-in-law, Edna Melson and husband, Gene, of Chandler. She is also survived by her great-nephew, several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many, many friends and her four-legged fur baby, Momo.

Jessica was preceded in death by her grandparents, Samuel and Elma Rodd; G.C. and Frances Blakemore; Roy and LaVada Phipps and Ruben Hatter. Jessica was also preceded by her best-friend since first grade, Erin Benton.

Jessica graduated with the Shawnee High School Class of 2000. She was a Brownie Girl Scout, ran track relays in Jr. High, was a Junior Volunteer at Shawnee Regional Hospital and a Junior lifeguard at Shawnee Municipal Pool. Jessica was a passionate, die-hard OU fan.
