

On September 27, 1939, he married Geneva Ingle, the prettiest girl in the world, and they had the privilege of spending 67 years together.
Preceding him in death were his son, Eugene Montgomery; four brothers, Everett, Tom, Bus and Billy; and three sisters, Sissy, Ethel and Agnes.
He is survived by four children and their spouses, Judith and Warren Lupton, Earlsboro; Janice and Dwight Reinke, Tulsa; Jack and Judy Montgomery, Fort Gibson; and Deborah and Dansby Vogler, Overland Park, KS; two sister-in-laws, Nadine Ingle and Elener Ingle; grandchildren, John L. and Suzanne Lupton, Shawnee, William Lupton, Yukon, Dylan McCarley, Chris Jackson, Oklahoma City, Sandra Connelly and Julie Reinke, Tulsa, Kelly Woody, Bethel, Steve Montgomery, Shawnee, Dena Crowder, Fort Gibson, Allen Montgomery, Enid, Josh McCollum, Hanson McCollum and Abby McCollum, Tahlequah, Ashlea Allsup, New Braunfels, TX, Gabriel Vogler, Minneapolis and Griffin Vogler, Overland Park; 29 great grandchildren and a host of friends who loved him.
He was an active husband, father, relative, in-law, neighbor, advisor and friend. In recent years Mr. Montgomery was active in the Senior Communities of Shawnee and Tecumseh. His friends were numbered by his acquaintances, and he will be missed by more folks than we, his family, can accurately number.
Hack’s visitation will be Monday, September 24th from 8am to 8pm with family present to greet from 6pm to 8pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. His funeral service will be 2:30pm, Tuesday, September 25th at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George M. Lupton officiating the service.
