

Johnny Bryan Ford, 50 of Shawnee, Passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, March 10, 2014. He was born on January 18, 1964, in Oklahoma City, and was the specially chosen son of Jack Ford and Peggy Ford-Fails.
Johnny graduated from Granite School in 1982. He enjoyed playing baseball, showing pigs and riding horses. He received an Associate Degree from OSU-Okmulgee. Anyone who came in contact with Johnny knew his love for racing cars, boating and water skiing.
He married Charlotte Watson, March 11, 1983, in Granite. They had one daughter, Bridget.
Johnny is survived by his daughter Bridget Sudderth (Ford) and husband Brad Sudderth, of Shawnee; two grandchildren: Kayden Sudderth and Kayte Sudderth of Shawnee: his mother and step-father, Peggy and Cleb Fails, of Shawnee; his father, Jack Ford, of Shawnee; sister and brother-in-law Randy and Kelly Wesley, of Shawnee; niece Shelby Wesley, of Shawnee; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives and friends.
Johnny was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Bryan and O.H. and Wilma Ford.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Officiating will be Micah Meek.
