Mary Donna Stell was born April 18, 1927 in Paris, Texas to H.W. and Rachel (James) Stell. She moved to Shawnee in 1933 and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1945. Mary attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee. On February 22, 1947, she was united in marriage to Bill E. Shepherd. Mary was an active member of Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee.
Survivors include: her son and daughter-in-law, Sam and Mary Shepherd of Sauk Centre, MN; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Judith A. Clifft of Oklahoma City and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Bill E. Shepherd; parents; and two brothers, Jerald Stell and Sidney Stell.
Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday, November 14 at Temple Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
