On December 4, 1992, Genard married the love of his life Stella in Shawnee, OK. Together they had four children together.
Genard worked for Jindal films as a resin coordinator.
He loved to spend his time watching Star Trek, Deep Space 9, and other sci-fi related shows. Other hobbies included fishing and watching American Idol.
Genard’s proudest moments were when each of his children and grandchildren were brought into his life. He worked hard to provide for his family and loved them greatly. Genard enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and was looking forward to watching his granddaughter grow and interact with her brothers.
He is preceded in death by his mom Brenda Banks.
He is survived by his wife Stella Banks; father Cardell Banks and wife Frances; daughter Cassandra Marizu and husband Ike of Shawnee, OK; sons Anthony Banks of Shawnee, OK, Brandon Banks of Shawnee, OK, and Denzel Banks of Shawnee, OK; brothers Maury Banks and wife Audrey of Broken Arrow, OK, and Gerald Banks and wife Leslie of Moore, OK; additional siblings David Smith and wife Trudy of Moore, OK, Delpheia Smith of Norman, OK, and Daniel Smith of Brockton, MA; 3 grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 5 nephews.
