Adam James Troutman

Adam James Troutman, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Born on October 16, 1998, in Louisville, he brought warmth and love to those who knew him. Adam attended St. Athanasius Catholic School and was a 2017 graduate of DeSales High School, where he was a member of the soccer team. Adam was a devoted fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, the Cincinnati Bengals and Oklahoma City Thunder. He had a deep love for animals and found peace in the simple pleasures of life—music, walking, hiking and spending time outdoors with his best friend and brother, Matthew. Above all, Adam cherished his role as an uncle.

Adam’s time here was far too short, he will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family and everyone who knew him.

Among those who preceded him in death are, his grandparents, James Troutman, John McWilliams, Cecil Fulkerson and Irene Fulkerson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Jason M. Troutman (Kim); mother, Liane Dattilo McWilliams (Matt); siblings, Jordan Schneider (Alex) and Matthew Troutman; stepsisters, Whitney Blackburn (Chris), Hayley McWilliams and Katelyn McWilliams; nieces, Kenzie, Kaylie, Navy, Violet and Aaliyah; grandparents, Lee and Angela Dattilo, Carol (Lopp) Spencer, Judy Troutman and Janet McWilliams; aunts and uncles, Scott Troutman (Gina), Craig Troutman (Amanda), Leo Dattilo, Carla Asbury (Marc), Doug Fulkerson, John Fritz McWilliams, Kim Cottingham (Larry) and Jena Ansert (Chad); his beloved cat, Rico; a host of cousins and other dear family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday, April 23rd from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of his service at 10:00 am at the funeral home.
