Anna Ruth Miller Russ

Mrs. Anna Ruth Miller Russ, age 95, of Okolona returned to her Heavenly Father on September 1, 2017. Mrs. Russ was a homemaker and a business woman working at the family owned business, Russ Motors. She was a member of Okolona Christian Church and an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. Among those that preceded her in death include her sons, James Leonard, Jr., Larry Wayne and Gary Lynn Russ; sister, Beatrice Van Meter; and brothers, Guy, Jr., Richard, Field, Marvin, Ralph and Ray Miller; and son-in-law, Paul Heffner. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Judy Heavrin (Larry), Doris Keith (Joe), Carolyne Heffner and Barbara Russ; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Miller (Shirley) and Ronald Miller (Moncelle); and sister-in-law, Roberta Miller.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday from 3-5 pm and Tuesday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
