Barbara Joyce Beatty

She was saved at Fairview General Baptist Church as a young girl. Barbara retired from Sears after 40 years of service, was currently working for Walgreen's and was a member of Zion United Baptist Church.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her husband of 48 years, Bill Beatty; parents and brother, Mitchell Hill.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Sheila Hendricks (Allen) and Shannon Atwell (Chad); grandchildren, Sarah (Jr.), Katie (Wesley), Elizabeth, Michael, Matthew, Emily, Abby, Brandon and Jacob; great grandchildren, Allysa, Mason, Sean and Gracie; sister, Glenda Hill King (Scott); brother, Marshall Hill (Larisa); sister in law, Wilma Hill and a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at Zion United Baptist Church (Visitation after 9:30 am), 7436 Ralston Ave, Louisville, KY with burial in Lone Hill Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Thursday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.).
