Ben Jewell Johnson

Mr. Johnson was born November 8, 1948 in Butler County, Kentucky, retired from RC Cola and was a member of Maryville Baptist Church and the Local Teamster #89,

Among those who preceded him in death include, his parents, Tower and Nellie Farris Johnson; siblings, James, Robert, Sherman and Roselee Johnson and Myrtie Duke.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years, Dee Johnson; daughters, Genene Gipson (Michael), Sandra Tillett (Charles), Teresa Paul (Stephen) and Tammy Atkins (Bobby Schneider); grandchildren, Derrick, Bradley (Amber), Tiffanie (Matthew), Anthony, Brandie (Jesse), Kristin, Juleon, Miranda, D.J., Justin and Andrew; three great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Evelyn Williams, Rachael Shaw, Opal Phelps, Gracie, Darrell, Bill and Leroy Johnson and a host of other family and friends.

Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd; use John Harper entrance).

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm CST on Monday at Christian Home Baptist Church in Bee Spring, Kentucky with burial in Vincent Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm CST and on Monday from 9:00 am CST until the time of service at the church.
