Betty Lee Rice

Betty Lee Rice, age 85, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father Sunday, December 10, 2017. Mrs. Rice was born on June 13, 1932 to the late Jerry and Ruie Lee in Butler Co. Kentucky. Mrs. Rice was retired from National City Bank now known as PNC. Mrs. Rice was happiest when she was surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed.

Among those preceding her in death include husband, Earl Rice; 1 sister Jerlene Jackson; and 1 brother, Dallas Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Thomas Rice (Pat), her daughter, Dolores “Dodie” Smith (Gary); 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A private burial will follow on Wednesday and Family Memorial will be conducted at a later date.
