Bonnie Kay Jones

Mrs. Bonnie Kay Jones, age 68, of Louisville, Kentucky returned to her Heavenly Father on August 1, 2024. She was born on March 6, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Albert and Gladys (McNally) Thompson. Bonnie was a very loving and kind person and was a caregiver for many years at numerous nursing homes, it gave her much joy to care for others. She liked playing bingo, going to casinos, she loved laughing and being a jokester, however the most important thing to Bonnie was being a wife for 38 years to her late husband Dorian, whom now she will be reunited with. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Norma Jean Vanderbrink (Bob), her great- great nephew Liam who often made her smile, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday August 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her service at 2:00 p.m.
