Charles William Riley Sr.

Charles William Riley Sr., age 88, of Okolona, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 29, 2021.  Charles was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on February 17, 1933 to the late Ernest and Omaya “Hayes” Riley. He was a volunteer firefighter at Black Mudd Fire Department, and a member of Parkland Baptist Church. Charles also served in the United States Army and was an employee at General Electric for 38 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Riley; parents; sisters, Mary Roarx, Ernestine Garrett, Sarah Jeffries, and Virginia Merrill; brothers, Clifton Riley and Gaither Riley. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Charles Riley Jr., Don Riley (Angie) and David Riley; grandchildren, Christel Blocker (Shane), Katie Brehmer (Bennett), Maddie Riley and Peyton Riley; great grandchildren, Cameron Manco, Shanna Blocker and Raven Blocker; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the chapel of Campbell- Fischer Funeral Home (491 W Main Street, Lebanon, Kentucky 40033) with burial at Lebanon National Cemetery. Friends and Family may pay their respects at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N Preston Highway, Shepherdsville, Kentucky 40165) on Monday May 3, 2021 from 2pm to 8pm and on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at Campbell-Fisher Funeral Home from 10am until time of service at the funeral home.
