Christine Brown

Christine V. Brown was born in Pickett County, Tennessee on April 8, 1931. She graduated from Clinton County, Kentucky High School in 1950. She worked at JCPenney in downtown Louisville in the 1950’s. She was a seamstress and worked for several employers in her field including Rodes Clothing Store. She enjoyed family, friends, the “Ruhl Acres Bunco Club’, flowers, cooking and her dog, Lady. She first became a Bullitt County resident in 1974. She had attended Eastern Gate Baptist Church. She resided in a long-term care facility in recent years. She is predeceased by her husband, Floyd C. Brown, and her parents, Dave and Cora Smith of Clinton County, Kentucky. She was the youngest of 5 siblings-George Smith, Sherman Smith, Mary Lou Guthrie and Gladys Schowalter- who all predeceased her. She is survived by her sons, F. Keith Brown of Hebron Estates, Kentucky and Donald Kevin Brown of Stanford, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is from 10 am to 12 pm on Monday, June 7, 2021 with a funeral service at 12 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home.
