Mrs. Connie Adams, age 72, of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Mrs. Adams was born in Martin, KY on June 9, 1949, she attended Eastern Gate Baptist Church and retired from Lowe’s with over 30 years of service.
Among those who preceded her in death are, her husband, Dorbin Adams and her father, Marion Brown.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Michael D. DeRossett (Robin), Derena K. Chafin (Jody) and Paul D. DeRossett, Jr. (Dawn); grandchildren, Michael Jr., Daniel (Kelsey), Shawn, Carson, Taylor (Jesse), Baylee, Martin and Josh; great- grandson, Jack; mother, Clara Ousley Brown; sister, Debbie Cain; brother, Darrell Edwards and a host of other dear family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, January 17, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with Pastor Jeff Anders officiating. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm and on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service at noon at the funeral home.
