David Hugh Jones

David Jones, age 65, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 25, 2024. He was born in Louisville, Ky. on July 25, 1958 to the late Hugh Marshall and Louise “McQueen” Jones. Mr. Jones worked as a warehouse manager at Peterbilt of Louisville. David loved his family, hunting, fishing, U of K basketball and old westerns. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jennings and Curtis Barnett; sister, Rosemary Neagle.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Sharon Jones of 31 years; daughters,  Elizabeth  Bryan and Tiffany McIntyre (Vince); sons, Tyler Jones (Savannah) and Cody Jones (Ally); two grandchildren, Austin and Myah McIntyre; sister, Betty Vickers; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm Friday, March 29, 2024 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd). Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 1 pm until service time. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude.
