David Wayne Pryor

Mr. David Wayne Pryor, age 72, of Shepherdsville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was born in Fairdale on September 28, 1949. Mr. Pryor was a member of Saint Aloysius Catholic Church in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Evelyn Pryor; 1st wife, Dianna Lynn Pryor; birth mother, Imogene Spradlin; brothers, Sonny and Jerry; and sister, Loli.

Mr. Pryor was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan. He loved music and playing his guitar and playing all sorts of games. He was a strong and kind supporter of his family and a great family man. Mr. Pryor will be greatly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 20 years, Nanette Bradley-Pryor; sons, Donnie Pryor (Karen), Dale Pryor (Kim); daughters, Julie Willis (David); Stephanie Schilling (Steven); grandchildren, Cory, Alaina, Dustin, Shelby, Lillian, Grace, Lorali, Geneva, Jacob; great grandchildren, Zoey and Reagan; brothers, Bud and Eugene; sisters, Thelma, Janet, Donna, Betty, Elisa and Joann; fur baby, Sadie; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 7:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with cremation to follow. Family and friends can pay their respects on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00am until the time of service at 7:00pm. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society. The family ask that if you are a U of K fan that you wear your favorite apparel.
