Debra "Debbie" Rose Ennis

Debra “Debbie” Rose Ennis, age 76, of Louisville, Ky passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, with her family by her side. Debbie was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 7, 1949, to the late Arley D. Riggs and Lillian (Edwards) Riggs. She retired from Kroger Pharmacy Center Fill, and Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. Debbie belonged to Harvest Church of God, enjoyed shopping, eating dinner out, dancing, taking Toby tours, and vacations to Florida. Debbie loved spending time with her fur baby Bella, and her family. She was a loving and devoted momma, sister, and Lil Debbie to her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Todd and Danny Riggs, sisters Norma Snow, and Doris Smith.

She is survived by her daughter Lacey Nava (Tim), brother Arley Ray Riggs, bonus grandchild Shawn Hauber.  Along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other dear family and friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). The visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
