Mr. Dennis Dale Alvey, age 60, of Louisville, Kentucky, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on December 11, 1962 to the late Carlie and Thelma Alvey. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death are his siblings, Paul Alvey, Rita Wheatman, Jean Hubbach, Cokie Baxter and Carlos Alvey.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Stacey Pierson (Nick); brothers, Lee Roy Alvey, Tommy Alvey (Shannon), Jimmy Alvey; and sister, Edna Mae Strange (Sam).
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
