Donna Marie Flowers

   Donna Marie Flowers, age 70 of Hillview, returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born on November 21, 1953, in Younger’s Creek Kentucky to Prentice and the late Wanda (Strader) Hughes. She was a long-time member of TOPS Weight Loss Group. Donna was loving and caring to all those who knew her. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was well known for her casseroles and desserts. Her true, life-long passion was to be a mother and a grandmother. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Hughes.

   She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 27 years, Perry Flowers; children, Melanie Robinson (Charles), Brandon Fields (Jennifer) and Todd Fields (Chastity); stepson, Kyle Flowers (Jules); grandchildren, Isaac, Dillon, Braxton, Brynlee, Dane and Leah; a great-grandchild on the way; brother, Victor Hughes (Trish); sister, Valerie Schaefer (Richard)

 and a host of other family and friends.

   Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 12 noon in the chapel at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Drive in Mt. Washington) with burial in Brookland Cemetery in Shepherdsville. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 1 pm until 8 pm and on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 9 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home-Mt. Washington.
