Mr. Edward A. Sciarra, age 78, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father on Friday, March 13, 2026. Mr. Sciarra was born in Louisville, KY on May 28, 1947 to the late Edward Sciarra and Josephine Sciarra. He was a devoted member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Ronald Sciarra preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Judith F. (Skaggs) Sciarra; children, Paul H. Thacker (Tracy), Sean E. Sciarra (Christy) and Melissa T. Sharpe (Thomas); 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry Sciarra, Rita Neat, Michael Sciarra and Angela Kelley and a host of other dear family and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.)
Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (11501 Maple Way, Louisville, KY 40229) with interment to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
